What can you expect from a surf lesson with Surf Pro?

Duration

Our surf lessons last 2 hours. The meeting time is always 15 minutes before the start of the course. When you show up for a course, you check-in inside the store, and then we make sure that you get the equipment and get started.

The instructor starts each lesson by explaining the schedule for the lesson and questions are always very welcome.

Water time

After changing to wetsuit and handing out boards, you go with the instructor to the beach, where there will be safety instructions, theory and warm-up before we jump into the waves. You can expect to be on the water for 1-1.5 hours.

Changing Course Info

Please always keep an eye on your email as the course location or time can be changed up to three hours before the course starts. Changes may occur due to weather conditions and to ensure you have the best possible experience.

Wave & Weather Policy

We do not cancel due to a lack of waves, but instead we take out the surfboards (or SUP) and enjoy the quiet North Sea. Here we spend more time on basic surf theory. The instructors are still ready to provide a good experience.

Beginner and continuation lessons

In beginner lessons, we go through everything from the beginning and get you started with surfing. In continuing lessons, we build on that and help you progress.

If you have some or a lot of experience, we recommend our private lessons where we can immerse ourselves in what you are specifically looking for help with.

Surfing continues

- From 12 years old

On our advanced surf course we build on your skills and work on timing, lineup positioning and more stable surfing technique. It's about developing your flow and gaining more control in the waves at Klitmøller, Hanstholm or Vorupør.

If you have some or a lot of experience, we recommend our private lessons where we can delve into what you are specifically looking for help with.

Book where you want to get surf lessons. But please note that we can move lessons to another location if weather conditions change. You will receive all info by email no later than 3 hours before the lesson starts.

When booking, you will receive access to our online surf course, which we recommend that you watch before the course starts. This will give you a better understanding of the technique and more benefit from your time on the water.

Children's course

On a children's course, each child must be accompanied by an adult (min. 18 years old), who must join the water as assistance. The adult only assists and does not surf himself. The adult comes along for free of course and is provided with a wetsuit etc.
